AS FEATURED IN

Cancer nutrition advice can quickly become difficult to make sense of in real life.
Working out how best to support yourself, alongside the growing amount of advice around food and cancer, can quickly feel like a lot to untangle.
My role is to help you make sense of it all. To understand what matters most for you, what feels realistic, and where your energy is best focused right now.
Is this you?
-
Preparing for surgery or treatment and wanting to feel as strong and supported as possible
-
Managing appetite changes, digestive symptoms, fatigue, weight changes, or treatment side effects
-
Unsure what really matters when it comes to food right now
-
Trying to make sense of conflicting nutrition advice
-
Wanting personalised guidance rather than generic information
-
Looking for an approach without rigid rules or extremes
-
Thinking about long-term health and how best to support yourself moving forward
If this sounds familiar, you're in the right place. These are the kinds of questions I help people with every day.

When food suddenly feels complicated
Nutrition can be a supportive and practical way of looking after yourself during cancer. Something grounding. Something sustaining. Something you can do.
Across every stage of cancer care, it supports strength, energy, resilience and recovery, and can help you tolerate treatment better. But knowing what that looks like for you can feel complicated.
A cancer diagnosis can unsettle your confidence around food. Things that once felt clear can feel uncertain. With so much information coming from different directions, it’s easy to lose your bearings.
At the same time, you may be dealing with changes in appetite, taste, digestion or energy that can make things more difficult.
This is where specialist support changes things. Often, you don’t need more information. You need help making sense of it. Understanding what applies to you, what doesn’t, and what deserves your energy.
Cancer care brings shifting priorities, side effects, and decisions that don’t always have a simple answer. Whatever’s going on, we work with it.

My approach
My approach isn’t built on rigid rules or extreme plans. I help you focus on what matters most for your health right now, and turn that into practical steps that fit your life.
This isn’t about trying to do everything perfectly. It’s about finding an approach that feels realistic and supportive for you.
Some people want to feel prepared before surgery or treatment. Others need support with strength, side effects, recovery, or the questions that won’t settle.
Alongside food and symptom support, we can also look at things like movement, sleep, supplements, emotional wellbeing, and other areas that may help support you more fully during and after treatment.
Cancer may be part of your life right now, but it isn’t all of who you are, and your care should reflect that.
This is about having clear direction and practical next steps, with nutrition working for you in everyday life.

For over 25 years, I've worked in specialist cancer nutrition across both the NHS and private practice.
